Good Morning,
Didn't manage to post yesterday as DS was off school with the strike and we spent some quality time together which was lovely. He has handled things so well and managed to stop seeing or spending time with the girl without any complaining.
Just had a quick catch up on yesterdays thread, positive vibes and best wishes for JackieG, JackieO and Lou.
We went out for a family meal last night as my DIL to be had a birthday. She is such a lovely girl and so sweet, if I could have picked a partner for my eldest boy I would have picked her and she has a wonderful family:D
Tonight is the hen night for the girls and all the boys are off fishing so we will have the house to ourselves to get ready, jumpsuit or maxi dress decisions decisions:rotfl:
Hopefully a nice quiet wkend coming up as I am shattered. DH is hoping to get some work done on the office at the bottom of he garden as this has not been touched for a few weeks.
Tea tonight a quick sandwich, have a good day all JxStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

Thanks very much for all your well wishes, you are a lovely bunch of people.
Feeling much more upbeat this morning, youngest sis went to see sis last night, so she now knows, which is a relief, she is as shocked as the rest of us, of course. I have written a big long list of questions to ask at the hospital, my job will be to write down what the doctors' say so that they can look over it afterwards, you know how it is with these things, not everything sinks in and you are left afterwards trying to remember certain things.
OS wise well I have s&s the kitchen and vacuumed downstairs already this morning, and washed the few cups and glasses we left out last night, the livingroom is next. I also had a wee half hour sitting in the morning sun with Coco and a cup of tea, which was bliss until the couple next door started shouting and bawling in their kitchen
British Gas coming to sort my cooker out this morning, and then I am taking the boys to see their gran, and they can stay up there while I am at the hospital with my sister. DMIL has some things to sell, and I am going to photograph them and put them on Gumtree for her, and if they don't sell I will list them on Ebay at the next free listing. Anyone want a knitting machine?I am seriously contemplating keeping it myself, she has offered me it several times over the years.
Hope you all stay safe today, hugs spoons and hi fives all round from me.

morning!
late shift for me today so doing a few jobs this morning.
Upstairs tidy and vacuumed. Kitchen floor cleaned, WM on, just need to vac downstairs. I've stopped for a delicious breakfast of muesli, blueberries, strawberries, almonds and cashew nuts - the fruit and nuts were all reduced at Morrisons last night:T and I soaked the muesli in skimmed milk overnight so its nice and soft.
(((hugs))) to the 2 Jackies and Lou x x x

Morning All,
Hugs to the Jackies & Lou Hope you all get some positive news soon x
Nice & bright here but not too hot so am hoping to get into the garden in a bit. Just waiting for the hayfever tabs to kick in.
Oswise have s/s the bathroom & kitchen, loaded the dw & got second load of washing in. T has just gone out with the hounds & will run the hoover round when he gets in. DS has been at his dad's all week but is coming home today so need to look into something filling & healthy for dinner tonight as no doubt he has been living on carp. DD made bread & doughballs last night but there are no cakes/biscuits as with DS away there has been no need, have a couple of lemons & some oats, so think I shall do a traybake & some twinks.
Hope everyone has a good day x
Hugs, spoons & hi5's if you need them x

Candy Harveys have a fabulous purple corner sofa in the cord chenille fabric for £500, I love it, but purple is a no-no here with the OH and the boys. I am moving away from leather now, I can't even bear to sit on my sofa anymoreIt's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0
