Thanks for all your replies mine only took a couple of days apart from last year with this specialist team and it took months to sort out, i'm now worried so will keep my eye on how long other peoples are taking :) xx
  • i must be one of the lucky ones, posted my renewal off 2 weeks ago, monday 20th june and have received extra payments into my bank account today as i have been underpaid so i was expecting the extra payments, havent received the paperwork yet, but very pleased with how quickly its been sorted
  • I did my CTC a week ago, on the phone, and had new payments sent a week later
  • think most people ar getting mixed up here with there renewals people are saying that there renewals are finalised when they arent it is only maybe there new payments they are getting and any underpayments they have got are for this year as we are 3 months into new tax year so if you hve just renewed it isthe last 3 months money they hve got now if they are owed money from last year they wont get that until last years is finalised
  • took mine around 3 weeks.
  • Sorry to be boring and repeating my question from another thread but I need to know whether by making a change to your circs and phoning it in does it change your pay date. I am pretty sure it doesn't but I'm feeling a bit paranoid at the moment! I get paid every four weeks and my pay date is tomorrow and I desperately need the money. I did my change of circs and renewed for the year Saturday morning with a very nice man on the phone.

We received the finalised award for last year and new award for this within about a week of renewing.

Is it childcare that takes longer?

But then, I've never had any problem getting through on the telephone either. I rang Friday and got straight through and yet there is at least one poster on here saying they can't get through and have been trying for days!

Not sure what's going on tbh!

hi, no the money that i received was from my finalised award of last year , i knew how much i had been underpaid and worked out approx how much they owed me, as we are now 3 month in to the new tax year my payments should also be based on the figure that i gave them to finalise last years award and should increase as they have been paying me an amount based on the pre finalised figure, clear as mud really

No it does not change the day of normal payment they just normally update the award and you will get paid as normal.
if you make a totally new claim they sometimes the payment date changes.

you will just be paid on your normal day :)

Thanks for all the comments...I rang them yesterday to give my income for next year and asked if they'd processed my renewal and he checked and said nope not yet but will be done in the next week, but i have checked my online banking and it says they put a payment in today of £1 under my normal weekly payment and a payment has just showed up for tomorrow for just abit less.
has anyone else had payments go in on different days? none are my normal day either and both show working and child tax credit
