I can imagine that is really difficult but it will help him to have more friends and be more popular if he does have rules. Good luck!
My son is not easy to get on with, he is really stressy and full on and I spend a lot of energy teaching him life skills, sharing, turn taking, thinking of others etc with the bottom line being that people will like him more if he is polite.0 -

Well done Blairweech
Um...I may have spent £2 on a ticket too - 10 of us decided to put in a ticket at work, so we'll have around £15,000,000 each if we win0 -
Blairweech - Congrats on passing your first year in uni.Frugal Living Challenge 2025 Mortgage free as of 1st August 20130

Don't worry paidin you'll get through but good cop bad cop is rather unfair so I think you should talk that through with your partner.
Well done blairweech - great news. Here dead we lie because we did not choose
To live and shame the land from which we sprung.
Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
And we were young.

Evening all! Not a particularly frugal day... Came home with the worlds worst headache and couldnt face cooking so i had a lovely bubblebath (bubble bath itself free with boots points!) whilst OH fetched a takeaway curry for tea... £10 down the drain but sometimes you need a night off. We have gradually been using up cupboard stuff so i think were pretty much on track for using most stuff up by when we move in 2 weeks. My poor freezer is now meat free, there are only a few sad frozen peas in there now.
Congratulations blairweech on passing 1st year of uni, i remember that feeling of relief lol!
I'm afraid i haven't much experience of vets but i will say this; unlike gps i think you get more of a choice... Vote with your feet!
Landlord has given us a cheque to cover our deposit back and, as were moving in with my folks, for the first time in a long long time we wont have to put one down on a new place... A nice boost to the savings :j will update sig when it clearsMFW Sept 2013 Starting balance: £101160.59 25 years

Good evening, I keep reading but thought I ought to post a little
I can assure you that 'posh' cats do get left in catteries. My friend runs one and she has two very posh cats abandoned since last year. The contact details are not answered. She sometimes wonders if the owner met and unfortunate end whilst on holiday. She keeps on feeding them, I have no idea what happens long term.
A vet where I used to live was one of those TV vets. I called in to buy Fr**tline once and was told I couldn't by anything unless ALL my pets were registered with them and had been in for a costly 'new client health check'. I left it and made a special trip to my usual vet who is grumpy but brilliant with the animals.
I too have very little in the garden. The runner beans are especially poor due to my neglect. Eggs are down, enough for us, but none to sell to cover the feed cost.
I tried cutting dishwasher tablets but boy they are hard! Now I buy DW and washing powder from Lidl. (and have been know to get them mixed up)
I cut Bri*lo pads into 1/3rd's
I use rubber gloves inside out on left hand which always wear out as I'm left handed.
I wear shorts whenever possible to save washing trousers
I dry myself and the children with tiny hand towels to save having lots of wet towels about the place - saves loads of washing. (When they are nearly dry they do have a cuddle in the big towels - I'm not that mean!)
aims for 2014 - grow more fruit and veg, declutter0 -
I am trying to buy a pair of crocs, with cashback on sale etc.... but the poxy delivery company never turn up! I'm going to give up and ask for a refund and buy some in a shop, the extra fiver will be worth the lack of hassle! D H L have a tracking thing online which says they have left a card twice, it must be an invisible card!0
