I'm in!
Will try and keep up with this thread!
Hi lostinrates! Nice to see you!
Hi newbies!
1 UU for July - BS coconut body butter. WNBA - BS butters seem way too heavy for my skin... I'm all sticky!
Do have a couple of in's on the way - Tesco coconut shampoo and conditionerI want a perfect body, I want a perfect soul, I want you to notice when I'm not around0 -
i nearly caved in today - Asda are doing Dove deodrant for £1 which is a bargain, and it's one i like. but i really don't need it. But i will use them! Oh how can i stop myself buying them, it's ages since i've seen an offer on them.
Going into town with my mum on Saturday so may have to go into savers or the poundshop for some acqueous cream, that is something i have no choice but to use and it's way too expensive in the other shops.0 -
I'm in for July! Thanks for starting the new thread EH! X
Did quite well in June with resisting the dreaded INs (although as predicted, OH brought back mini hotel soaps from his work trip - groan!). Not too many UUs unfortunately but I am on holiday as of Monday so should hopefully use up some miniatures! Will be MIA for the next couple of weeks but will post on my return. Might treat myself to perfume from duty free on my way back however I have been really good in using up lots of old bottles with dregs in them since I started the challenge so kind of justified!
Just used my VO5 Intensive Hair Mask - Treat Me Right - it smells absolutely amazing. I'm now sitting in front of the tv sniffing my hair which is attracting some odd looks! Wonder if the rest of the range smells the same.... Will need to re-purchase shampoo and conditioner at some point this month.
Hope everyone is well!

I've about 1/3 of a bottle of shampoo left. I wonder if we'll need to replace it this month? I think I need to go and get the hair and body washes out of the stash and hide them elsewhere so that DH doesn't try to use them as shower gel or I'll have to buy shampoo
. The conditioner I bought in March (ish) is going to outlast the bedding I bought the same day. Rotten cheap fabric. Definately putting cotton or bamboo sheets on the Christmas list this year!
Burnt my arm last night trying to swap the shelf into the top oven but getting stuck because of the bread flour warming up in there. Really sore and bothering me so I grabbed the Lavender essential oil which was on the side and put some of that on it. It's eased it massively and it only took one drop. That's pretty good going isn't it!
Didn't manage a bath last night before bed. I am SO having one when I get home this morning! Then I'm going to bed. Bliss!
Permission to chuck out a lippy? I got it for Christmas. It's an Avon one and whilst I like the lippy as it has a little bit of a shine but not the annoying stickiness of gloss, when I wind it down, it scrapes off half the lippy. It's really messy. The colour isn't perfect either. Right that's me persuaded. BIN! I shall go and dig out another from my handbag to put in my pocket and then will hopefully use that up.
Have had homemade coleslaw about 1 hr ago and I've got gripey stomach ache now. I think I may visit trumpton later on:eek:. Not at work though. I can do no more than a wee here .
Lostinrates; how come you're not living in your country pile at the mo? (so very nosy!). Did you ever make your big grass chair? I saw one at a national trust property we went to last summer and thought of you.
Littlepinkstars; was it you with the Lush (and S&G) addiction who did the youtube films of bath ballistics?
I was chatting to the people at work this evening and one of the chaps thinks that I need to fill in a RIDDOR for DD's accident. Theoretically it wouldn't be me that had to fill it in anyway it would be them but I know that I can as I can do it online. I just checked it and I don't think it is apropriate for the incident anyway. Am I right? http://www.hse.gov.uk/riddor/guidance.htm He said that they should give us a ticket for a free day there and I said we get free entry when we camp anyway so we wouldn't go there for just one day. I'm just happy that DD's alright now. Apart from her manky wrist which I can sort out for her. She's clearly robust because it's healing well. I tried to ring DH last night to tell him to stick a load of honey on it but our phone doesn't appear to be working.
Ah nuts! I've just remembered that both of them are being graded for Aikido in the morning. She may not be able to do everything so won't get her tab. DS won't go far with it either unless he pulls his finger out and starts paying attention and stops picking his nose and staring into space.
We may have to swap aikido for Rugby. Unfortunately rugby doesn't involve sitting in a heated or cooled room drinking coffee and browsing in the library whilst your children do their thing. It involves cold wet and mud as far as I can tell . Possibly broken bones and beer too.

I amIts slow progress. Its tacken us a year for surveys and to plan. Our planning aps went in this month. I'm a bit worried its taking so long. The cantankerous boiler which hgave a few hours of ''less cold'' each day died in late winter and so I have an immersion for hot wayter and the dubious wood burner and thats it for this wointer unless the pace picks up a bit.
I haven't got my chomomile seat in yet, I have to wait for the building on that side of the house to finish (hopefully that might be phase one this summer autumn, but things keep getting delays.)....but it will be the first area I can really get stuck in....hopefully next summer it will be in.
A UU: original source Almond and coconut bubble bath. I might try again if on offer. Its not a strong smell I don't think. But its nice enough.
Edit: and my in purchasess from thursday: an eyelash treatment, Chantecaille mascara and Bumble and Bumble hair stuff for curly hair. (yeah, I know, not a single mse purchase in there. But the mascara is really good, I've been out working in the fields this morning and I usually have panda eyes, but this has stuck despite some very unfeminine sweating and puffing.0 -

I have my first UU to report!
BS DeoDry Fresh and Floral Deodorant stick
WIBA? Maybe I think I bought these in a BS Glitch/Voucher deal a while ago. It was alright but nothing special.
I have also just noticed that my Sure deodorant stick has completely fell apart. Going to try and fix it later after work.0 -
I just want to curl up in a ball and die this morning. Had a letter to say I didn't get the job. I mean seriously Ive been working in customer service since I was 16, totally flexible with hours and as far as Im aware gave them every possible reason to employ me. There is nothing and I mean nothing else around at the moment, I can't even do damn cleaning jobs because they want you to have a driving license. I can't do bank jobs because Ive already applied for pretty much everyone one before and can only re-apply after 6 months. Ive been turned down to work in Asda, Spoons, Mcdonalds. Charlie don't worrySomething will definitely turn up soon. How about as an intern or something? I remember reading tweets recently from Game and Benefit that they're employing at the moment, so maybe try applying for something totally different, and you might find it's something you enjoy more? Huge *hugs* hun

I got two in's to report. I had my copy of InStyle yesterday which came with a free Body Shop mascara. I'm looking forward to trying it out to see if it's any good. I also went food shopping at ASDA and picked up some Vo5 Miracle Concentrate Oil. In my defence I've been wanting it for ages and my hair is so dry these days and conditioner isn't doing much for it.0
