    And I surcharged them until I got a decent deal off Barclays Merchant Services which meant that I preferred them.

    2) Has a moan about the banking system and throws a few insults at posters who don't agree.

    You do know there is a cost for taking cash don't you? Or can't you figure it out.

    Er.. that was my point. They can offer a discount for cash if they feel ripped off by CCs (as the OP says).

    The fact they don't and after I got a good deal from Barclays Merchant Services I didn't either is precisely because of the hassle/uncertainty of cheques/cash.
