Hiya,
About a year ago, I was wearing my gullible hat, and I signed up for a free book from 'Streetwise Marketing' c / o a chap called John Harrison (have a Google; He gets about!), based in Rotherham.
Since then, they've bombarded me with countless newsletters, and rubbish / general junkmail / emails, even after I've repeatedly asked them (in writing and by email) to remove my details from their database, and stop sending me stuff.
Any idea how I can stop this lot from sending me their rubbish?
The emails seem to have quietened down a bit thank goodness, but they're sending me stuff in the post every month (at least), even though I return them, with a note on there, politely asking them to stop!
Cheers - Sim.

Any postal stuff why not mark it as return to sender and any emails mark as spam0

Thanks.
I've tried the 'Return to Sender' approach.
However, they don't seem to have got the message, as after I did this they've still kept sending me their rubbish!
Have sorted the 'Spam' for their emails.
Thanks again :cool:0 -

Can't you just chuck it in the bin and continue on with your day?
I wish we could stop the dominos leaflets coming through the door!0 -
There are two approaches you can use:
Bundle up all theri paperwork they send you, wrap it round a brick and deliberately send it to them with insufficient postage, they will then have to pay to recieve their own stuff back.
Bundle up all the stuff you can find and send it back with an invoice for your time and postage, as well as a letter saying that if they continue to send you stuff they have entered into a contract with you. If in the contract you are making it clear that in future you will expect them to pay for returning unwanted mail and you will take them to court for non-payment if they don't, then you could go down that route.;)0 -

Haha! :rotfl:
Fair point. I just wish they'd give it a rest.
Not worth getting hot and bothered about though
As for Dominos, I get those Pizza leaflets too! Those go straight into my recycling bin.
With this 'Streetwise Marketing' lot though, it's just a bit cheeky after I've repeatedly asked them to politely stop
PS - Dominos are extortionate, but I am tempted by the free Ben & Jerrys offer in this weeks MSE...0 -

Hilarious!
Love the brick idea. Thanks :rotfl:0
