but my toddler through a huge strop so i refused to go any further and walked out. Which made her holler all the way back cos she didn't think i'd stand to my word. One day she will actually lesrn that we don't do stuff cos of her temper, then life will be more fun. Anyway thats by the by!

she will learn very soonm when she never gets her way during a trop. Indulge her once, you will have tantrums the next 50 times.

Anyway, great onteh NSD, and for getting out the cook books. but the easiest pre perhaps cheapest stuff is wht you can d with flour water and yeast ;-)

Well my organisational skills are improving. However! Was back at work yesterday, night before had bags packed for me and the kids, work clothes ironed, everything sorted. Got to work yesterday and found that i'd left my lunch in the fridge at home! So that was £3.49 thst i needn't have spent!
Plus side i did an online food shop which arrived yesterday. Managed to cut back to £63 for the week, which is a huge improvement on my usual £95-£100. Budget planning is starting to work already.

Right back again after a mini hol. Got home to a tidy house, a happy to see me OH and 2 excitable kids, but an empty fridge.
Did a week's food shop (after looking through the freezer) for £31.75. So feeling quite pleased with myself. Saving of £50ish quid from normal. So that has been saved for a bill i have looming next month.
Managed 1 NSD while i was away too. Am busy attempting still to become more organised. Have listed stuff for selling, so just waiting for buyers. :))

Oh and managed to pick up a xmas pressie for eldest dd today at less than half price. I have never been this organised!

Well it's been an expensive week, had a 30th birthday, a child's party, DD2 needed new shoes but only paid half price thanks to some vouchers.
Shopping day tomorrow, so about to write my shopping list. Managed very well so far but the freezer is nearly empty so time for a restock. Gonna bulk make some meals.
Still need to find that thread on feeding yourself for 50p that Atush spoke off.
But I am very pleased that i still have money in the bank, the bills are all paid and i've only got a week and a half till payday!
I'm feeling like i'm starting to live up to my name.

Right, am having a sorting and doing day. Just rang talk talk and reduced our broadband and homephone by a tenner a month. Also rang the tax office and checked my taxcode included professional fees, and laundry, which it did, so thats right.
Have also read the meters so waiting to see if gas and electric bills drop a little now.
Time to muster troups ready for the food shop!x

  • Found this I'd thread that i started last year. Feeling a lot better about this year. I am a lot more organised now but still have areas to improve on. Went through all the DD's this morning and have cancelled stuff i don't need. Saved myself 13 pound a month so far. Have also started my asda savings card for xmas. Have decided to downgrade a couple of item each food shop and then Im putting a fiver on my savings card.

I know i sound like Im waffling but Im clearing my head so please bare with me.

  • Have also listed some old baby items on a babysite to sell. Have made 25quid so far and totally decluttered one bedroom. The house is getting tidier and i think its helping my mindset.
