Yeap i plugged in new speakers y'day but no sound......0

make sure the sound on your computer isn't muted there should be a little picture of a speaker in the bottom right or go to control panel and go to sound and audio deices. Make sure the speakers are in the right slot at the back of the computer.0

yeap i looked at that icon as well but nothing was muted - i did find it strange that i can't hear anything. i even checked all the slots and again no sound - but what i am wondering is whether the computer hasa sound card - i've just checked the specifications and it says that a Sound Card [intel High Definition 7.1] is included but then below the specifications it says no sound card is included - i'm puzzled0
