    Hi

I sympathise! Keep a diary and note down everything you hear then assess what needs looking into most.

We have lived in our house for 4 months, its in a lovely area..so quiet. The house is a newbuild and compared to the one i moved from this one i think has paper walls! One side we have no neighbours as it is a holiday home and the other side was empty for ages..i kept saying 'hope we get a nice neighbour not someone noisy' spoke too soon! She is very young and has a daughter and they sound like a pair of elephants!, the music has been awful, various partys but the thing that annoyed us most was the shouting out loud in the garden that she is unemployed, basically proud of the fact she is living in a big house free..not sure how as it is too big for her and her dd but hey..we will be moved soon!

Ahh....I think you're right actually. Seem to remember something similar. Someone said to me once never complain to the neighbours about anything they've done so you never have to declare anything when you sell.

It's hard to believe anyone could live next to all that though and NOT complain at some point!

Hi there everyone, thankyou so much for all your replies. All is quiet on the Western Front, she must have gone away for the weekend.

Treasuretiger From what was heard it seems as it's personal use, there aren't a lot of people that come to her house.

Deannatrois We know the area quite well as have a few friends living on the same street and it is normally a very quiet little area.

Skint_Catt After doing some digging with the other neighbours it seems as though this has just started after her fella has moved out a couple of weeks before we moved in. I have also found out who the landlord is and one of the other neighbours is going to ring them, because they have spoken to them before about a joint repair.

JennyP Yes, we have bought it. They didn't have to declare anything as there was never a problem or a dispute before according to the other neighbours.
We had 6 viewings of the house at different times of the day before we moved in and never heard a sound so it must be a recent thing.

Here's hoping we get it sorted as it's getting quite ridiculous now!! She sure is having a whale of a time though lol!!

My sympathies, it's not nice living next door to someone like that. When I lived at home about 10 years ago we had a neighbour who would play music at ear breaking volume long into the early hours, she shouted and was foul mouthed and had 2 kids. My mum used to go round and knock on the door and politely ask her to turn it down, she did for 5 minutes then it went back up again, EHO wasn't very helpful at the time and it go so bad we couldn't even sit in the living room as we couldn't hear the tv. It got so bad that she went to hit my mum and I stepped in and give her a fat lip, then another time after 1am my mum went round and asked her to turn the music down and neighbours boyfriend started on my mum, in the end we dialed 999 and the police arrived.

She also had very noisy sex, headboard banging against the wall, loud oh yes (sure you get the idea!) everytime that happened we used to clap and cheer. Eventually she moved out (rented house) which was a relief for all of us but it really did shake my parents and now they hate loud music.

I find it amazing that someone can write something noncomprehensible but use the english language lol.

I assume the poster means run the neighbour out of their house? Or do they? Hence the reason for the nonsensical post.
I think it means: I am here to spam - and have to drivel on for X posts before I can link to really cr4p sites.

Aww Traceyg that's awful! Glad they moved out though and hopefully now your Mum and Dad get some peace.

A little update for you, we have been unable to contact the landlord, but are going to keep trying.
