I like to use personal shoppers now, as they give you advice about what is in fashion, and will also ensure your look isn't old before your time. A lot of the department stores have free personal shopping services now, with no obligation to buy, though you do have to make an appointment, and it may be a few weeks before they can fit you in.

I also believe if a colour or style makes you look and feel good, you should go with your instinct. An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T

I have the same colouring as the OP - just to confirm what CCStar said, jewel colours are the ones to go for e.g. ruby red, emerald green, turquoise/jade/ teal, midnight blue, purple... I normally get compliments when wearing these colours, anyway. Black and navy are also ok. Baby pink, brown, orange and cream tend to look rubbish on me. It probably varies from person to person though, even if they have the same colouring. Have fun shopping!0
