    Hi,
Does anyone no if theres a method for working out your cars MPG ??
If you can't afford the 'brim-to-brim' method then you could always just check the official manufacturer's stats. What kind of car is it?

You'd be better putting £10 of fuel in, on five different occassions. You'll save a fortune...

I think working out miles to the gallon is useless! I like to have it in ££ terms!

So I fill it up and note the price and mileage, then note the mileage on next fill up.

Mines about 16p a mile!!! Which proves it's way cheaper to take my car to work for £1.28 a day instead of the bus for £2.80!! Saying that if I included pro rata road tax, insurance, tyres and finance it ends up being £21.32 a day!! Not much of a bargain now.. I guess that's what you pay for flexibility and convenience!!!
