Just updated sig, spend of 20.01 in T's yesterday, picked up stuff for main dinners for next week in there as well as yesterdays pizzas...spent 32.99 in A!di this morning and seemed to get loads of stuff, although have just checked my receipt and they charged me £1.29 for 6 eggs that had been reduced to 65p as they are close in date  I know its not much but its annoying as I didn't need eggs but thought I would use them all up on cakes...picked up some more of those tomatoes in oil so I can do that scrummy lasagne again soon mmmmmmm...

I seem to be on target ok this month, just hope I can get to next weekend now without any spends .....(actually I do need to go out in a minute for garlic and cream for tonights dinner, so will have to add a few more pennis on later)

Hope you are all having a good weekend
Starting with Avon C6 target sales £150.00

Also whilst on the subject of chocolate this is fab http://www.lifestylefood.com.au/recipes/34/chocolate-selfsaucing-pudding it is a self saucing chocolate pudding.

and heres a banana and butterscotch pudding http://uktv.co.uk/food/recipe/aid/516685

They both have a sauce layer at the bottom of the pudding and are easy to make, dont take loads of ingredients and impressive.

The chocolate pudding is in the oven at the moment and looks amazing! Thought - you could add some orange zest to make it choc orange.. :T

I love Bill Granger recipes there are always some new ideas and the recipes are quick, easy and unfussy.
good idea to make a choc orange pudding, but that butterscotch banana one is really really good and good for using up bananas.

Finally spent some of my food budget
£1 in H&B on heinz ketchup
£40 in lidl on store cupboard stock up tins, meat for packed lunches and mince - the steak mince was £1.30ish for 500g so I got four lots and made a huge batch of chilli - complete with grated carrots, lentils, the chopped frozen ends of peppers, and mushrooms stalks from the freezer stash. DH had some for dinner and says it is rather hunt the mince but very nice all the same. I usually only buy mince from the butchers but funds have been dramatically cut so thought I would try. 50p for two heaped ladles full once all the ingredients are included. Now stashed in one person portions in the freezer so it doesnt get snacked on. Also defrosted and cooked 4lbs of stewing beef which is now portioned up and back in the freezer. Also banana muffins for the freezer. And celery and stilton soup, and bread to go with it.

I have a T order coming early next week, £9 off a £90 so stocked up on pet food, laundry stuff and the 3 for 2 on oats and cereal which ends Tuesday. I like the way it ignores offers when calculating the total spend for the discount voucher. Real spend closer to £70 IF they actually deliver everything.

  • I have spent £10.20 on juice the last 2 days . It has been so hot up here though that the kids are guzzling it. In my defence though £7 of that was on 24 cans to take on picnics with us this week and that will save me a fortune in the long run. so now at £204.72 from £250 and I don't get paid until 28th  so only 19days to go :rotfl:. No chance but still trying;)

    By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.

    Hi everyone,
Really pleased with how i'm doing this month so far. I resisted the temptation to use a £12 off £60 spend in sainsbugs, as I knew i didn't need that much stuff, but i seem to feel compelled to use the vouchers, I know thats what they are aiming for, so it feels good to have not succumbed.
Tried the bbq canellini beans and sausage recipe on the front page yesterday, had it with rice, it was lovely, will definitely be making that again.
Don't need anything else for the week, so hopefully lots more NSD's.

Have a good week everyone x
