    Morning all,

    Lovely and sunny again here.

All children off school due to strikes. I should be on strike as well but I am off to my aunts funeral so OH is at home looking after them.
Not sure how funeral will be, she was quite old but so full of life, may be a celebration of her life but will still be really sad.

    Have a lovely day everyone:)

    Morning All

    Lovely sunny morning

Shopping day today, but I don't need a lot just a few basics.

Got in to see my GP last night, she has been on holiday so had missed all my drama of last week. She is not happy about my legs and feet and has put me on stronger diuretics and if they are still swollen in a fortnight I have to go back to see her and she will do more tests.
The good thing is that she has now finally agreed that a lot of my weight problem could be caused by water retention, so we might be moving in the same direction now.

I have a friend coming round this afternoon who has a problem with posting his cv so I will do that for him.

DS is off today because his school is on strike, but DH's school is open.

Well I am off for a shower and then we will shoot down to Aldi when DH gets home from his shift.

    Have good days all x

    Morning my lovelies :D

Sun here at the moment, was lovely at 7am when I hung the washing out.
DS is at school as his is open :D got friends popping round for coffees this morning :D
Not sure what plans are for this afternoon, tidying up house probably after tornado of kids have been through ;)
Tea? Might cook turkey meatballs that are in freezer.

Having problems getting my courgettes pollinated. Had tried a paintbrush but don't seem to be producing any girly flowers, only the male. Not to mention the complete absence of bees lately  There were lots at Easter and they've all disappeared. Anyway have uncovered courgettes from netting and will have to see how they fare.

Hugs and spoons all round. Have a great day OS or not.

    Morning All,

Tired and grumpy here this morning, I didn't sleep well at all.Got some bad news yesterday which has upset me, I can't talk much about it yet but will be back to share later in the week. A problem shared, and all that.

The boys are still asleep, in fact I hear stirring. I have my nephew up for a couple of days, and they stayed up later than I did last night watching a movie; DH put them to bed. I was going to take them on a daytrip today but the car was making a strange noise last night, I think it might be the exhaust, so I will need to take that to get looked at. Otherwise I shall be weeding, and finishing sorting out the living room. Oh here comes DS1, dressed too

Dinner tonight is sausage casserole for the boys and haggis neeps and tatties for me and DH, not exactly summer food, but I love it and Mr T has 2 veggie haggis for £3 atm, which is comparable to making my own and a lot less hassle.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe.

    Morning all.

Okay day here so will do my long scenic walk to town to take back a DVD and check at the chemist if DH's prescription of GF bread is in. I hope so, because breakfasts are so much easier if he can just have toast.

DD15 is off school today. Her cough is awful and she slept terribly last night, but has to be fit for prize giving tonight as for the first time ever has awards to pick up:T.
Then just tomorrow morning and it's summer hols here:eek:. I'm I'm presuming all the kids will be heading down to the loch for their end of year swim straight after then they have a party in the evening and DD will be staying at a freinds overnight then they're heading off to Tentsmuir beach on saterday for the day with a BBQ and I expect a few beers.. so won't be seeing much of her...then it's the big build up to TITP next week...I'll enjoy the peace and quiet till then as i think i have quite a few kids staying including 2 I've never met from Edinburgh:eek:.

Have a wash on (bedding) so will get it hung out before i go out and I will NOT spend any money ( I must keep repeating this to myself). Actually i don't think I will take my bag...:D

Hope everyones surviving and having a decentish day

    jackie ((((hugs))))

I actually had some good news this morning. Was really depressed that I was going to have to go and buy larger size summer clothes as I have put on weight since I last wore any (2 years ago - no summer up here!) Got out my lighweight trousers and shorts (size 12) and THEY FIT! I must be losing inches rather than weight 'cos I stepped on the scales and I haven't lost anything. Great incentive to hie me off to the gym this week to try and lose some more before we leave a week on Saturday.

Off into rainy Glasgow now - dreaded dentist appointment. But going to do a CS sweep to see if I can find some long floaty skirts for the beach.
