we decided to get the profs
What professionals did you employ and what instructions did you give them?
If you instructed a solicitor to sell the property - that's what he's done.
If you instructed him to look into the estate and act in the best interests of the estate, he clearly was negligent.
  • we employed a corporation that was made up of probate/solicitor/estate agent all together,so we gave evrything to them and they did evrything that was needed to do to sort out the estate,we left evrything to them, even when they sent us a form to sign, askin if we agreed with the contents, all the utility bills to be paid, bank accounts he had,any other bills ,thats when we found it,but by then it was too late, evrything had been paid,so how could we not agree with the contents when they had already been paid?it has been a mess from beginning to end,but we wont go down without a fight, the ombudsman perhaps?

Sorry that you have lost your Uncle: I'm sure his loss is much more painful that any money loss. However all the other money he left you - rather than, say, left to Battersea Dogs home or some other charity - must make you feel so blessed and very fortunate.

As you've described things I think you've no chance of successfully suing the solicitor.

What specifically did you do in relation to the sale of the house?

Were these people engaged to consider and advise (you) on/ recommend the sale of the house?

OP, your keyboard seems to be missing some letters. You may want to get that looked at.

The SHIFT key is either missing or defective.
