Cheap Flights to Johannesburg

Hi this might have been covered elsewhere but me and my other half are looking at getting married in Johannesburg and want to know the cheapest way to get there and the cheapest time of year to fly. We dont have any dates in mind so are flexable so if anyone has any experience of flying to johannesburg and could shed some light on it i would be very gratefull.:D

We tend to go to South Africa every year, October / November is a good time to go, it's spring so getting warmer but not yet peak season. We usually fly KLM from Norwich via Amsterdam. In fact, in 2007 we got married ourselves in SA (in Durban, where my wife's from and her family still live). The best time to book is during the January sales, after that around 2-3 months in advance when airlines reduce fares on unsold seats. This is a risk though, as if they have sold enough, they won't reduce fares by much. Curently Lufthansa and Qatar Airways are the cheapest, but shop around.
