Hope kitty feels better soon - sure the "special" food will do the trick!;)

Kitty? Kitty???? Not quite the words I'm using!!
If it's even the slightest bit of consolation

    It isn't!
I'm sure SHE appreciates it loads

Oh I'm sure SHE appreciates it!
Especially when SHE's watching me trying to catch my wallet currently floating near the ceiling like a hydrogen filled balloon it's that light..... hours of merriment there, bless HER!

Days out? Football? In my dreams...

    .

I have always thought that the best name for a 'kitty' would be 'Cooking fat' ;)

Though I suspect the OP may be calling it something similar already :D

I would love my bills to be £160!! Do I even dare say, they are currently in five figures? Okay, that is for a few different pets but one of my cat's bills is just over £18000..... so far...

Could you use this as an opportunity to get HER to insure HER cat?

WOW, you have topped my bill. I keep asking about getting 'airmiles' or 'reward points'. :p

I asked about frequent flyer miles last time my daughter was in A&E! Apparently they're not worth much on the NHS, weekend in Bognor Regis....

Ouch OP, that is a big bill for not very much! What is this 'special food'? Is it hills or science plan crap?

All joking aside he was insured since he was a kitten but when he hit 12yo the insurer at the time refused to cover him & other companies either didn't want to know or quoted ridiculous premiums.

To be fair to him he's now 16, has lived outside most of his life & hasn't cost us a penny in vets bills (apart from visits for battle scars occasionally) so the £160 I paid spread over 16 years is pretty good going.

My original post was making a light hearted response to genuine shock that a 10 minute visit resulted in a £160 bill... it's easy to see how others can rack up thousands of £s.
