    GOOD NEWS (At last)

Santander have agreed that I'm not dead following a £170 solicitors letter telling them such! I've managed to get £2000 cash today, which has been placed with Natwest for safe keeping to cover my living expenses for the next month, and they're going to send me a cheque for the remaining £700-odd in costs!

    Thanks for the help guys!

Just feel relieved you're now free of that shower of incompetent wastrels.

The interest-free credit card mentioned in the other post is nothing to do with them, wasn't tempted when I could go with someone far more competent!

Thanks for your support to all! :T

I'm sure they would have had no problems with you being alive if you asked to open an investment product. They'd probably even open it for you if you were really dead.

I've kept having credit card applications and 'do you want a 0% credit card for 18 months' rammed down my throat whenever I've gone into branch, knowing full-well the problems.

All Santander want is profit, and reading something the other night about not being able to send a cheque for 1p (they sent me one for 27p, and another MSE user one for 1p) bring completely ridiculous. They're also concerned more about their tax status than donating to charity, it would seem.

Fingers crossed I'll get the cheque and not have to deal with them again! :T

How do I get this sorted out? Will this affect my credit, it is a Comet edge. Everytime I speak to them they say sorry but its not good enough. Can anyone help please
