the only ones that are deep enough for our deep mattress plus mattress topper are from QVC (northern nights).... not where i expected to buy them from, but after trying every department store plus extra deep sheets at places like Dunelm Mill, gave it a try. i like the quality too.:happyhear0

Mine are from John Lewis and are just a little too big for my king size bed with mattress topper (bed also from JL). Also wash well and are lovely and crisp with minimal ironing. Just their own brand.0

I get a size bigger than the mattress.. double mattress = king size sheets...
Mine are the 100% cotton ones from Littlewoods catalogue.. my last ones were from La Redoute and are fantastic.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
our matterss is alot deeper than most so i bought an extra deep fitted sheet from a local retailer it cost a bit i think about £25 ( king size) for 1 sheet. but it is a perfect fit and washes fantastic. there is also a bit of extra room so in the winter i can put a duvet on top of the matteress under the sheet for extra snuggle. and it still gives a perfect fit.0

Thanks for all the replies - looks like Ikea gets the top voteI get a size bigger than the mattress.. double mattress = king size sheets...
The only snag with that is that the next size up from king size is super king which is actually a 12 inches wider (rather than the 6 inch difference between double>king) so they wouldn't really be fitted sheets!0 -

They are if your mattress is deeper than the average one and I have a mattress topper on mine too which takes up more of the excess.
Then because they are 100% cotton a hot wash and TD shrinks them a bit...

Marks and Spencer here, we had the cool cotton ones ( the ones which trap heat in the winter and keep you cool in the winter. They are too big for our kingsize mattress.0
