  • This morning I googled "i7 laptop" and came across the PC Titan website and noted that they seem to offer a great deals.
However I felt something wasn't quite right and googled "PC Titan". Guess what, I was directed to this forum! Thanks to all who contributed.

Is there no way of getting Google to remove such sites?
  • Just a question - there are a couple of folks here who have ordered stuff from these guys... has anyone ever received anything?

Personally, I'm avoiding them like the plague, there are plenty of dubious companies on eBay who'll freight me things from the other side of the planet, and at least they have feedback scores. But it'd be interesting to know if they are in any way legit.
  • I signed up just to reply to this post...

The only reason these scam sites exist, is because there are an incomprehensible number of stupid people in the world, and I'm sorry you got stung, but really... you sent cash to someone the other side of the world because you saw something cheap on a website that looks like it was built by a 12 year old child... All I can say is - LOL... there's one born every day.

By the way, I have plots of land for sale on Mars.... Special rate, just for you ;)

completely agree, you have to be completely off your rocker buying sumit that involves sending basically cash to any company, especially abroad imo

im looking for a gpu, and every type i put into google shopping, pc titan comes up with massives savings on other company.

    tis well dodgy
  • Why when every man and their dog identifies and knows an obvious phiwshing site, do google continue to utilise, to me they are the guilty party by allowing such domains access to their shopping sector.
  • I'm so glad this popped up in google search engine. I was looking to buuy my daughter the Disney laptop which they are selling for around £100- £150 cheaper than other places. :jThankyou everyone who posted and thankyou MoneySavingExpert. Saved from yet another scam.:j Just wish eBay was as good. I'm on my fourth dispute in two years!!!:mad:
  • It seems they have re-surfaced as www hardwareking net. EXACT same layout, same lack of any info/details etc on the site. Same lack of orders showing up. Same 1/2 the price of anywhere else setup.

Site changed hands recently, should make the owner/operator easier to track at least.

Sorry for the necro on the old thread, wanted to have this show up in searches etc and get people aware asap. Not sure how pc titan got bombed off the google product search but this one needs to go the same way.
