ready for throwing printer in the bin

Options
any buying a new one :mad::mad::mad:. its a canon mp140... im getting error code e5. it wont recongnise the new colour ink cartridge. when i got the ink cartridge i had the idiot guide to installing it as its a refill... tried the holding the button down for 5 seconds etc to get nowhere...
i would buy new canon inks for it, however its only £10 more for a wireless brand spanking new one than to buy the inks..

id rather get this tank fixed tbh as these are only the 3rd lots of ink in 3 years!

= The ink cartridges are not installed or a non-supported ink cartridge
is installed, or the ink cartridges are not installed properly

    So check for that

This is why I a stick to the cheap HP printers...
The cartridges work when you refill them

And if they give up, or moan about cartridges, you can pick up a new one (with a full black and colour Cartridge) at about the same price as replacing the 2 cartridges on the old one! ^_^ lol

HP Wireless printers are usually good! My mum picked up a wireless printer/scanner HP from Sainsburys at the start of the year for £25! it's a great little machine!

The printers were originally £45 and were down to £25 to get rid of them... lol
