do currys store price match web price of dixsons?

yup used to work for pc world, seriously just collect at store it unless there is no option in which case print the page as this just means the store has 3 or less in stock (although theres a risk of none)

i still collect at store things now especially ink cartridges as they can be alot cheaper and that way i don't have to search through all their cartridges for the ones i need

The item we want won't allow reserve and collect unfortunately and it's white goods so won't be able to go to PC World for it (although voucher does cover PC World too). Will try to do the printout from their own website though - thanks for that deanos and lostintheplot!

I just checked dixons.co.uk - I didn't know they sell white goods! It lists the item as £17 cheaper than currys.co.uk! So if the store price matches that we would be saving £47!

im in the same boat here

there is a camera i want to buy, its £104 from dixons online

i have a £20 DSGi gift voucher that i think can only be spent instore.

The camera is £130 at currys and pcworld, Pcworld dont allow collect at store, but currys will.

so i need currys to pricematch dixons so i can get the camera for £80!

or can pcworld price match dixons online instore so i can use the voucher and get pcworld to deliver the camera to me?

any help much aprpeciated!

I had a similar issue in January - i spotted an integrated dishwasher on the Dixons Website and noticed that it was £50 cheaper than both the Currys web/instore price + Dixons were offering free delivery too!! (this wasn't even in the Jan sale either!!!).

The sales guy @ the Currys store told me that as Dixons were part of the same group, Dixons were now basically 'a website-only version of currys as they no longher have any outlets' so currys no longer offered the price match on Dixon prices. I agree - im sure it does depend on who you get serving you!!!!

So instead, i found the same dishwasher in B&Q, did the price match there instead and they even matched the free delivery too!!!!! no problem!!! Saved myself £70 - bargain!!! haha....:j

We have just bought a 40" Panasonic LCD from Dixons, it was £250 cheaper than comet/currys, and neither would price match! I also went through quidco and 'should' get £20 cashback!

Are you sure? For example to price match on a cpu PCWorld would have to drop their price by £30 to match an online retailer like ebuyer - would they do that?

I also work for Curry's (part time whilst i study) its not policy to match Dixons or any other Web only retailer, however sometimes we do if your a nice, honest person and don't just go 'i can get it cheaper on the net' which bugs me as nearly everything is cheaper online, and makes me ask why you in the store then?! or they need the sales.
