Smile Paying-in envelopes Part 2

Smile is having a laugh!
As per my previous thread Smile Paying-in envelope saga continues...

Life's too short and I've decided I might as well have a fun at Smile's expense too. So I am turning it into a competition... read on.

Smile customer service confirmed me that the envelopes were sent out on 6th December and I would receive them in the next 7-10 days. I've requested them three times  since September but I've received none so far.

My question to you is:
How long will it take before I get them?

Pick an option and post your answer please:

Option 1 No. You will never get them.

I will receive them:
Option 2 by the end of this year.
Option 3 by 14th Jan 07
Option 4 by 28th Jan 07
Option 5 by 11th Feb 07
Option 6 sometime between 12th to 28th Feb 07 (my 8th request and this will be it Smile!)

Prize: All participants with correct answer will receive a mystery gift either via PM or by post (your choice).

Please state your option and choose an online or offline gift.

All competition entries must be in by 13th January 2007. OR it will end as soon as I receive the envelopes. So post your answer asap to avoid disappointment. I will keep you updated.

Option 3 - online gift please! On a related note - I ordered mine via the website and got them about three days later...
  • EQUALLY, ORDERED ONLINE, RECIEVED IN 3 DAYS.

I'll be bold and go for option 2.
  • option 4
    option 4
If I had words to make a day for you,
I'd sing you a morning golden and new.
I would make this day last for all time,
Give you a night deep with moonshine.
  • I'm gonna go out on a limb...... Option 1!
  • Option 3 - online gift please.
Stupid question I know but with Smile being an Internet bank have you moved address recently and if so have you updated your address?
  • To ask a stupid question, have you been into the post office and asked for a co-op bank paying in envelope ? They do have them you know (well my local post office does!)

I still wonder why you would want to pay cheques in at the post office counter and have more people handling it, rather than do the faster method of posting it to the freepost address.

I thought it was safer to pay them in at the Post Office when you think how many letters the royal mail lose a day.....hadnt really thought how the post office get them to smile though (please dont say they just post them)

They go with the post to the clearing centre in Northampton... just as if you had sent it to the freepost address.

When posting something you can get a confirmation of posting if you like, but what use is a receipt ? If the cheque is lost then you still have to go to the same hassle of sorting it out.
