    Hiya

As far as I know there is no longer any hold-ups, the Judicial Review is all over, done and dusted, but due to this there are backlogs.

I would try contacting the CEO perhaps, and/or contact the FSA.

I have not come across the CEO as yet, but have you tried contacting the main number on their website below?

Di i also forgot to ask - i have requested a SAR which i got back but they state they cant find any more of my details.

If this is really the case what happens re the PPI i have paid for the 2 previous years they cant find. Is that then dead money as i cant claim what i cant prove?

Thanks again for all your help with my o so many queries.

    Hi
They should hold details of the last 6 years, some even longer than that, but every bank/company varies, however if your account was not as long as the last 6 years they should still hold the details on file/microfiche.

I take it you did write to question them on the details missing?

It will not be a dead end, they do have their ways I'm sure, with my last 2 recent reclaims they were from 1999-2001 and even though they did not provide me with the details - they did seem to have them when working out my PPI.

You could try ringing the FSA.

Even though the JR matter is over and the banking association decided not to go ahead with the appeal, the banks/businesses are left with backlogs.
But in my opinion or as far as I was aware there are no hold ups as such due to the JR, but just on backlogs of complaints.

    Hello,

To the original poster - Citi have refused to respond to any of my letters with the exception of the first complaint letter. This said that they will investigate, this was nearly 6 months ago. Now going to Ombudsman.

Ok – so following on from the morning I called the FSA on (+44) 20 7066 1000.

Spoke with a gentleman who advised as they have not ack my letters (both Citi and Cap 1) they are in breach and not adhearing to the rules set out in place for them to follow. I have got 16 weeks for them to deal however I SHOULD STILL GET AN ACK and be KEPT UP TO DATE.

So he advised my next step was to go to the OMBUDSMAN and REPORT THEM. Their number is 0800 0 234 567.

and from mobile (for users who pay a monthly charge for calls to numbers starting 01 or 02) 0300 123 9 123

    Me again –

Called the Ombudman and they have logged my complaints.

He advised Citi is apart of RBS – so they have 16 weeks.

Cap 1 have not been given an extension and they still have 8 weeks to reply.

Should they not provide me with a satisfactory reply at the end of their allocated times, they they will start dealing
