M&S sale items - further reductions

I went into M&S about 10 minutes too late today. They had just reduced all the homewares/gifts right down and a woman had a trolley FULL of stuff, looked like she had just swept everything off the shelf straight into her trolley!

I managed to get a couple of Christmas cards reduced to 50p and a crafty marbelling set for £1 down from £5.

There was a shelf of wooden sculpture thingys reduced to £7 I think that people seemed to think was a bargain as they were going fast. (people seem to buy for the sake of it sometimes!)

Also some cat gift sets and cat and dog charms for about 50p and the usual pot pourri bags.

Well I'm still waiting for the vouchers they promised me for compensation for messing me around with my sale items. Looks like it was just empty promises.

i am also waiting for vouchers i was promised due to being messed around. i placed 5 orders, am still waiting for two but out of three i did receive all the necessary packing was in boxes to protect breakables but breakables were placed on top of packing and every item arrived smashed. expecting more in the next wo orders so will see what state they arrive in!

Trying to be patient here myself, i will give it another couple of weeks and ring back, or send a complaint letter to head office. I keep wondering how much in vouchers they will send as compensation?

i wouldn't hold your breath for anything big. i ordered some glassware for £100 in the christmas sale last year which all arrived damaged & got a £5 gift voucher as an apology.

also i ordered £500 worth of clothes in this sale but 3/4 of my order got cancelled. i really wish they would synch their website stock status with real time

I am still waiting for most of my Christmas day order.
Just called into Owlcotes store and placed quite a few clearance lines of clothing into my trolley, could not be bothered trying on, and at till the assistant said they will not accept any clearance returns back unless faulty. They also had small (I did not notice them) signs placed on the end of racking.
So please beware.
