Went into M&S - huge bargins today in the gifts, Christmas cards , decorations etc.

Lots reduced to 50p and £1

Looks like they are trying to get rid of it asap.

Some Per Una skirts reduced to £9 at mine. Tops reduced to £3. Xmas cards and decorations reduced to £1 and 50p.

I emailed them earlier to ask why I get a system error on the order history for my Nintendo DS. Got a reply saying the order has definitely been cancelled.
I'm a bit annoyed because they have already charged my credit card for this, and the order still shows on the system, and the cancellation email had a totally different order number and clearly said I would not be charged for this item anyway.

Did you get a confirmation email? if they have taken the money from your account then think legally they have to sell it to you.

I DID get confirmation email, and a phone call to check my credit card details, and the woman on the phone said there was no problem with my card and I would definitely get my order, AND they charged the money to my credit card.
I believe this should confirm that a contract exists, but their T&Cs say that order acceptance will only take place once they dispatch the order, irrespective of whether they take money off you.

They really dont seem to know what they are doing my order still states placed despite them emailling me to say it was cancelled.

and i've heard nothing at all in relation to my second order which is also placed.

I got some cool gift sets for girls reduced to £1 - ideal for my daughtr for her friends at Christmas.

I also got her slippers from £11 to £2 and a set of two T'shirts from £11 to £3. Great reductions.

The special Christmas cards are £2.50 to 50p
