  • was getting a bit worred as still had no confirmation email about my rather large order.... but have just have had an email to say 2 items that are out of stock, but the rest is being despatched and should be with me in 4-7 days!!! called customer services to see if i could cancel soemthing, and they did that with no problem (saves me returning it later!) so fingers crossed, it should be fun when the stuff comes...
  • I've got a 'Confirmed' status showing on my online order with a delivery date but still havent received a confirmation email. Do I need to wait or assume my order is out of stock?
  • Did anyone venture early down to the Oxford Street branch? What electrical items did they have? Were the queue's massive before 8am?

Was gonna go, but couldn't be arsed as didn't know what they might/might not have.

i have just had my confirmation email thru today, after i'd already had an email from them re the order. So you should be ok, with the items. I think they try and get everything together first and then send out confirmation. If items are out of stock they will notify you and then send the confirmation without those items.

These were not for staff ;)

If there is less than 10 in stock they become "out of stock" online.

So in a way staff could have added them to their order (so im told by my OH)

When I said reserved for staff I should have said reserved BY staff....I was 2nd at the dept 2 mins past 7.00 am and there were 3 or 4 TV's...all with names on them..one said STAFF...and two of the buyers knew each other...so what conclusions can we draw from that?
