Yep, they were all reserved for staff....I don't have a problem with any staff getting perks but I thought they should not have had them on display...they could have kept them on a back shelf....much like the lappies and DS lites.
Better get to work now!!!!!0 -
I was told the laptops and DS were london only - I still came away with 2 set top boxes and 3 Creative Zen MP3 players though!
Manchester staff had also taken first pick - the torture was seeing them in the queue behind me with all their goodies0 -
Hi there,
Just joined this site after seeing many other ppl unable to get the bargains at M&S.
I did get the Sony T10 digital camera for £125 and 14 inch tv for £39 at Warrington Gemini this morning.
However, I didn't see the Samsung 32 inch tv for £125! I would have definitely purchased one of these. I originally put a laptop and camera in my basket online - but when paying - they were then unavailable!
I don't think M & S are playing fair allowing staff or anyone to reserve sale items. Pepperoni - I didn't see the reserved tv's but if you did, you should complain.
I asked about the DS Lite - I was told they ran out of stock before Christmas.
I imagine they only had one laptop online to sell and it was merely an enticer to get us all in the stores.0 -
had a nice little haul today
6 of those creative zen v plus 4gb for £39 a piece
and 6 cameras @ £125 - had to get up a 6am though!0 -

These were not for staff
If there is less than 10 in stock they become "out of stock" online.
So in a way staff could have added them to their order (so im told by my OH)
