Well maybe that was an over exaggeration about being locked up. But it's just a bit worrying the kind of people those listings attract. Well the bidders should I say.
Why would anyone pay those silly prices for worn things? Theres nothing wrong with buying second hand clothing etc, but it's still the sexual side which is making the buyers bid.
This is true. The buyers are bidding because they want worn school girl clothes. Its not up to me to say if they should be locked up but look at the prices these bids are going up to!! I have school children. I would not pay more than about £3.50 for a used school skirt!!
It also doesnt matter if the person listing the item is 16 or 45 or male or female. They are being sold with the suggestion that they are school girl clothes. So at very least its a misleading sale! And if the girl is 16-shes put her email address on their and with that kinda listing shes just asking for trouble that i dont think should be encouraged by ebay!0 -
Who is harmed? Potentially someones daughter somewhere when someone who buys this stuff for sexual gratification moves it up a level.
Binnie, we're not all sick peverts you know, some of us are worried fathers doing our best to keep our kids safe in a dangerous world0 -
Olias and Steeeeeele, you have got this so wrong. I'm not complaining about the school girl uniform whether fancy dress or not. I'm complaining because this person is selling it as used school girl items with the intent of making lots of money from strange people bidding on these items. I just think it is attracting a strange minded person who is willing to pay this much for second hand bras.
You are both men, right?0 -

I'm not saying all men are sick perverts Jim, not at all.
But I can't believe a woman would pay this sort of money to wear it. I feel it's beyond that.
Yes you got the nail on the head there saying keeping your kids safe in this dangerous world.
Thats what it is a dangerous world and ebay shouldn't be encouraging these sort of listings.0 -
Lets not get personal! I dont think binnie is suggesting all men are sick perverts. but i kinda agree that anyone bidding on these items probably are (perverts not necesarily men!) The point is these kinds of listing are not aloud by ebay which is why shes had to claim "thatthe item is washed and clean" (even tho shes suggests this is not the case in her about me page) whether its wrong or right-its asgainst ebay regulations and needs to be removed0

No Binnie, it's obvious to anyone that the items are sold to fuel someone sexual fantasy / perversion, no one would buy this stuff as legitimate clothing - but men don't have the monopoly on perversion, just the majority of it0 -
I'm sorry, but I also find this hypocrytical. Most women, when they dress as schoolgirls for fancy dress, do so in the 'St Trinians' style. They go for the short skirt, the exposed cleavage, the fishnet stockings - all designed to titilate. How can you do this, and then say - "men finding 'the schoolgirl look' attractive - disgusting!!!!!!!!!" and feign outrage.
Olias
It's a bit different when people dress as St Trinians, in those days it was just a bit of fun, nowadays the world is a lot different place. I have never dressed as St Trinians myself and never will and where have I condoned it.
I'm just annoyed that these listings seems to be attracting the wrong sort of buyer. It's the fact that there are sexual meanings to these items in her photos, her me page etc and if they get into the wrong hands. Don't you watch the news?
Have you ever met a pervert, phaedophile? Well I have, so maybe I know what I'm talking about.0 -

I do feel sorry for some men, it seems that on the news, most rapists are men, most !!!!!philes are men etc. Then there are the lovely ones like you who care.
I just find it a bit worrying thats all and when I'm sat on a bus with a load of school girls/boys and what they talk about nowadays, theres no wonder there are listing things like this.
God I was so naive until I was 19, lol.0 -
That there are double standards in the world makes no difference to this matter. It is clearly offensive to encourage a sexual interest in adolescent girls and responsible people certainly don't want to encourage or tolerate it.0
