I feel annoyed about the poster having a go at me. It must be a man. Who else would stick up for the stuff she is selling.
  • I saw that! I dont know how the item can be defended. At the end of the day it doesnt matter how old the seller is, its being marketed as clothing worn by school children and sold in a provocative manner. The only people who would bid on it are going to be perverted old men ( i mean no mum looking for second hand school clothes is going to bid up to £60 for a skirt!!!) and its actually quite worrying that shes provided her email address on her about me page. At the end of the day nothig about this listing conforms to ebay regulations and needs to be taken down!

You are all saying 'she' is underage. You have no way of knowing that. 'She' could be anything from 12-22,32,42? And 'she' could equally easily be a rather effeminate man with padding up his top!

The point I made earlier, is that a lot of people condone the sexualisation of young people (advertising/media/pop music/clothing - etc etc), whilst at the same time showing shock and disgust when young people play on that sexualisation and when some people are attracted to it.

Now don't get me wrong, I don't advocate it at all, but the society we have created needs to accept the blame.

Well I have reported them so hopefully if enough of us do then ebay will sort it. But then ebay can be greedy and think of all the FVF's they are going to get.
I buy second hand clothes sometimes off Ebay, but not school girl stuff, and if I wanted a school girl outfit for a fancy dress for example, I certainly wouldn't be paying those ridiculous prices.
Thats why I think theres something wrong with people minds paying for them, it's cos they are sickos .

I am a very nice person thank you very much. Theres nothing wrong with buying used womens clothing at all.
This girl is not a woman, she is a child.
Why are you defending this person and having a go at me?

you don't know anything about her age.

and i'm not defending this person, i'm just not attacking them like other people here are, and i'm not calling for the her buyers to be locked up either.

Well maybe that was an over exaggeration about being locked up. But it's just a bit worrying the kind of people those listings attract. Well the bidders should I say.
Why would anyone pay those silly prices for worn things? Theres nothing wrong with buying second hand clothing etc, but it's still the sexual side which is making the buyers bid.

clearly people are not buying the items because they need a new school uniform

so far you've called for her buyers to be put into jail, called them perverted and labelled them sickos, because they want to buy a womans used clothes? people have different interests and i think you should be less judgemental about peoples tastes

obviously it is the sexual side

but why are you so against that? the men want to buy womens used clothes for whatever personal interests they have and clearly they is decent cash to be made from it. tell me who is it harming? aside from your personal judgements that is

I'm sorry, but I also find this hypocrytical. Most women, when they dress as schoolgirls for fancy dress, do so in the 'St Trinians' style. They go for the short skirt, the exposed cleavage, the fishnet stockings - all designed to titilate. How can you do this, and then say - "men finding 'the schoolgirl look' attractive - disgusting!!!!!!!!!" and feign outrage.
