Paid 128.7 this morning in Asda. Tesco are offering 5p off a litre if you spend over £50 in store but are charging 132.9, 4.2 p more than Asda.0

My local BP (franchised) went from 135.9 up to 137.9 for a day then dropped it back to 135.9, local Tesco & nearest Asda are at 133.9 i believeRetired member - fed up with the general tone of the place.0

"Business trying to make money shocker"
Oil companies have a commodity that is finite in supply and high in demand. Why are they wrong for trying to profit from that in the way that we all would do so given the opportunity?
If you don't like what they charge for petrol, go and dig up and refine your own.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Fully agree with whatmichaelsays.
Energy is a commodity not a right, especially vehicle fuel. We have no right to demand low energy costs.
This is something people need to start understanding about gas electricity and fuel prices...0 -

When oil goes up you see that reflected at the pumps pretty much the same day0 -

bring on liquid hydrogen energy powered cars, hydrogen is everywhere, an unlimited supply, hydrogen mixed with oxygen and boom fuel what is the end result for emissions H20 yip WATER (NASA been doing it since they developed space craft).
OPEL/VX/GMC are already on that and have produced a few cars powered by it, but the costs of these cars are about £80.000 something for the future definatly see it catching on unlike electricity powered vehicles0
