I saw a seller trying to full a fast one by describing Wii Sports (one title) as 5 games.

As ever, be very careful on eBay and READ READ READ the small print.

Woohoo... I now have a nintendo Wii... 3 days before xmas... so plenty of time to wrap it.

I rang up the Game in stratford (E15) this morning, and have been trying since 8am.

I got through at 09:30, and the guy mentioned they were getting some in, but wouldnt say how many. And also, they are only selling them as a bundle which comes with 5 games and a case for £385.

I read somewhere on this forum that someone rang customer services and found that they cant do that, and should sell you it on its own.

I did the same, and rang customer services, who said that they have to sell you the console on its own if you ask for it.

Anyway, I went in to the store at about 10am, but they were refusing to sell me the console on its own. I argued for a while, and said I spoke to customer services and they didnt seem to care.

They eventually took my number and said they would ring me when they have got through the pre-orders, and should come back around mid-day.

I went home, fuming, ready to complain to customer services, and as soon as I got my foot in the door, my phone rang. It was the guy from Game!

I went straight back, spoke to the guy, who pulled out the Wii and happily sold it to me! I also bought Need for Speed.

There are 2 younger siblings out there who are going to be seriously happy on Xmas day!

thank you for everyones message! i finally got my wii today in the aylesbury store, they had 12 coming in, and about 10 people waiting there already by ten. delivery arrived at 10ish, and we were allowed to get the console on its own, very friendly service! too bad there isnt a wiiplay...

Ive just got back from Bolton again and had a result I was outside the former EB shop first at 8:35 I was told they had 3 comming in so I got one from there £179.99 thats a present sorted. The other people also waiting asked and were told the other 2 were for pre orders and they had been told there were 3 available yesterday also they were slightly pee'd off. as I was going back to the car I passed the newport street game so joined the queue again as the woman who I spent most of yesterday talking to wasnt there but she said she would be turning up I thought for a second and joined the queue I know I could have sold it no problem. I was 4th in the queue she arrived and was 12th they were receiving 12 so she should have been ok when they got the order they had 8. I told her to hang arround outside and see me once I had sorted things out. Her son was with her yesterday and was so bloody excited at the chance he was getting one then to be let down I would have sold her mine but I was 4th I got a 2nd wii so sold it to her for £180, a mate was going to have it but he can wait till after christmas, I feel all warm inside now. the bloke who was 9th in the queue after I had handed the thing over said he would have given me £200 but I didnt do it for the money.

Just picked up one in Watford Harlequin - they had 15. I was buying a PSP game and just asked them. I was given a ticket and asked to come back in half an hour when they had unpacked them. Might be worth a quick trip down there (it was not advertised in the shop as being available)

I didn't have to buy a bundle btw!

thats very nice of you, i would of done the same if i was in your situation! now you are gona have an extra nice xmas! just been on wii and my hand is already aching! have fun with urs!

My mum joined a large queue outside the midsummer boulevard store, they sold out I think she said but she paid a £50 deposit and they said she could pick one up on the 27th, which they have reserved.

Suits me fine, so if anyone in MK needs to get one on the 27th Midsummer will have them!

I asked my mum if she knew what package she had put a deposit on, but she said they didn't mention prices or packages ect when they took the deposit. I hope to god they don't try and get her to buy a £300 odd package I will go mental!! It is a present, and I feel bad enough that she is willing to spend £180 on one for me!!

I ventured to the Darlington store today about 1.30pm only to be told they had non left Looks like I'll have to wait till after Christmas now!

glad you got one - I hope my post yesterday helped! I managed to reserve Wii play online from Currys yesterday and collected it today from the small shop in Hale Leys. Don't know if they had any more but it might be worth a try. Also they only hang onto reservations for 2 days so you could try phoning the store to see if they have any that haven't been collected. You can get the phone number off of the website I think. Good Luck
