I dont' see a problem with having to buy 5 games with the console... surely you can just return them?

It is definatly wrong but some places do it to stop people just buying the console for sale on ebay. I wouldnt buy them if they wanted to bundle a load of games with it. Why would you want to buy the games then return them its much easier to just buy the console and buy the games as you want them having to return them just makes extra work for the store.

The GAME stores themselves don't know if they are getting them.They just turn up on that days delivery schedule.
So if a store says no more until after Christmas, it's still worth going in every day to check.

When I called Edgware this morning (shortly before original post) I spoke to a young lady who advised that there would be some in at 12.

Maybe they got annoyed with so many calls that they said they weren't gettin any.

maybe i phoned up too early. spoke to a man, i think it was the same one that i spoke to before on the phone and the same one in the store.
i phoned up at 8.45 so maybe they werent away they were getting a delivery then.

I managed to get on from the Castleford branch at junction 32. Got there at 9.45 to be told 12 coming in before 12 noon. Waited in the shop with 12 others and they arrived 11.55am. They sold them either as a package or on there own. There were loads of people in the shop as Pink/black/White DS's were also due in today at the same time.
I picked up the information from another thread on this forum but thanks any way to the OP :T
Maybe worth calling up to see if any more due in tomorrow. The staff were very kind and helpful. also maybe worth a call if your after a Pink DS

HI, I HAD A QUICK LOOK AND ONLY SAW THREADS THAT SAY GAME ARE EXPECTING WII'S IN!

I CAN CONFIRM THAT GAME IN ROMFORD HAVE 12 LEFT!

I WENT THERE AT 9 O CLOCK AS I KNEW THERE WAS A DELIVERY DUE AND THE GUY TOLD ME THAT THERE IS A DELIVERY BUT HE IS NOT ALLOWED TO TELL ME WHETHER THERE ARE ANY WII IN THAT DELIVERY BUT I WOULD BE BETTER OFF STICKING AROUND! (SO BASICALLY JUST TOLD ME THAT THEY WERE COMING) SO 90 MINUTES LATER I WAS STILL STANDING THERE WAITING FOR AN UPDATE BUT NEEDED A WEE SO THE GUY ASSURED ME THAT HE WOULD MAKE SURE I GOT 1 AS I HAVE WAITED a long time! ANYWAY AFTER 4 HOURS OF STANDING IN GAME A BUZZER SOUNDED AND SOMEBODY BEHIND THE COUNTER SHOUTED 'DELIVERY' THEY CONFIRMED THAT THEY HAD 20 WII'S AND WERE ONLY SELLING THEM IN A BUNDLE OF CONSOLE AND 5 GAMES FOR £370 SO I GOT 1!
ABOUT 1 HOUR AGO ON MY BACK THROUGH TO THE CAR I POPPED IN TO SEE HOW MANY THEY HAD LEFT (JUST OUT OF INTEREST) AND THEY STILL HAD 12!
SO GET DOWN TO ROMFORD NOW! THEY ARE NOT MAKING A BIG THING OF IT AND YOU WOULDN'T EVEN KNOW THEY WERE IN STOCK UNLESS YOU ASKED!
