If shes over 21 no fluffy toys!
I would buy her the perfume she normally wears, or some Champagne."On behalf of teachers, I'd like to dedicate this award to Michael Gove and I mean dedicate in the Anglo Saxon sense which means insert roughly into the anus of." My hero, Mr Steer.0 -
How much do you like this girl? I get a feeling from your post that she is not the love of your life. If so, be careful not to let her get the impression (by giving an extravagant gift) that the relationship is going somehere it's not - you say you think she likes you a lot, don't lead her on if you are going to ditch her in January.

I like the perfume idea too - would be well impressed if a new fella bought me perfume, but would be a bit creeped out if he bought me a soft toy, sorry!
(I think soft toys are cute though, but would rather he won me one at the fair or something silly like that) "I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

My now hubby and I started dating 4 days before christmas. I mentioned on our first date I liked South Park and he bought me a big south park soft toy. Very Sweet because he had obviously listed to what I had said (my how things change lol). I still have it 7 christmas' later. I bought him some beers of the world (actually I didn't realise we were doing pressies so when he brought mine round I quickly wrapped it up because I had originally bought for my granddad) and he seemed very impressed with them. 6 months later I found them stuffed in the back of a cupboard because he hates beer
.
My advice would be think about something she said she likes. Try and make it thoughtful...the kind of pressie that will make her go ah bless. I would certinally avoid the scarf though. If I was bought that I'd be tempted to strangle you...not very romantic. Thorntons chocs always a winner.0 -
definatley NO SOFT TOYS they are just dust collectors no one i know would be impressed with a sof toy!
I'd go with the jewellery thing. maybe something nice and small like a bangle or a necklace.0
