Complain to Trading Standards, and also send a further letter, a letter Before Action to the store management that you will be initiating action and reporting them for a serious breach of the Equalities Act after 14 days if they do not resolve this matter and cease and desist in their now criminal harassment. imho0

If you have a collection of paperwork, send it to your local Trading Standards.
They have recently taken a VERY close look at the debt collection activities and commercial practices of PPC's and are actively prosecuting.
We'd all love to see UKCPS hauled up before the beak.0 -
"I was researching and another carp parking company, UKPC (similar sounding but different) on their website, in the legal section, state that to comply with the Disability Discrimination Act, they will cancel all charges for people who have blue badges but don't display them, if a copy of the badge is sent to them. "
Hi, doesn't say that now as far as I can see.0 -
Just a reminder that the Blue Badge Scheme does not apply on private property and the OP had no need to display it in the first place.
As pointed out earlier, the Equality Act applies here and adjustment for disabillities must be made for everyone covered, regardless of badge.0 -

If you have Google searched and found this thread by accident, and you have a fake PCN there from a private company, first of all ignore it. Then ignore it some more.
And then read the rest of the forum - there are hundreds of more current threads, this one is old!:
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?f=163
Read the sticky threads at the top by Crabman first 'PPC letters, what to expect' and 'welcome, please read before posting'. Watch the Watchdog clip.
Then laugh and ignore your fake PCN even more, and the letters that follow.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

If you correspond with them they will find some way that the money is due, Equalities Act or not, as they regard themselves above the law. They are emboldened because the disability charity that was Mobilise are in cahoots with PPCs0

Today i parked in council run car park, put in my blue badge, went to pyshio for 1 hour came back to find a attendant had put a ticket on my car, saying that i should of put my clock on display, I said i thought that was for if you parked on a street. But this is a bit wierd, well to me it is, he said that if i had parked in the Long stay car park, and not the short stay one, i would of been ok, that it didnt need timer clock displayed. Yes i'm appealing it.0

aandrea - New case new thread please.
You have a genuine council Penalty Charge Notice so we can't ignore this one and this thread was about a PPC ticket, so even more important to start a new thread.
Also, this looks like one for https://www.pepipoo.com so we would advise you to start a new thread there as well. We will need copies of your PCN with your VRN and personal details washed out before posting - see the sticky's on the site on how to do this.

Hi, I am new to forums but have had a parking fine from ukcps. I was parked in a disabled bay due to being unable to park in a mother and baby bay. I had just had twins and it was pouring with rain. Standard car parking spaces aren't really an option for me at the moment unless nobody is parked either side of me. I went into the store for approximately 10 minutes and came out to find the fine on my windscreen. I was so annoyed, frustrated and upset as soon as I returned home I appealed hoping to appeal to the companies better nature. I now appreciate this was probably the wrong thing to do.
Should I cut my losses and pay the £60? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.0
