Post Office Rates

Hi, my sister went to the local Post Office last Friday to purchase £500's worth of Euro. Now, on the Post Office website it was advertising cash at a rate of about 1.095ish. However, not being au fait with forex rates she went ahead and exchanged at 1.06. Are the Post Office not obliged to sell Euro at the advertised rate or can they choose their own? Thanks in advance!

To get that rate you must order it online for pickup or delivery. It certainly didn't have 1.095 on the board at the Post Office.

Who started this myth that the Post Office is good for changing money?
