    TJ's took over our local Woolies store when they closed... Must be cursed...

    Was going to say same here but it's probably the same one as you're in the armpit of the Midlands!! (Hanley).

    We're going to be just left with Tesco :(

    to be fair the last year or so there have been very few bargains there, looked there recently at homeware and it was all awful, so were the mens clothes
    Who remembers when X Factor was just Roman suncream?

    i don't go in there much seems to be more for oldies (sorry not ageist or anything and i am nearly 40:rotfl:)

    My MIL will be as well. That's her place to hang out twice a week with her 70s mates plus according to her, serve a good value afternoon teas.

    No way i love tj's, one in warrington is fab for bargains been shopping in there as long as i can remember :(

    i was so happy when tj came to eastourne, we always took a emtpy suitcase with us when we went to liverpool (visiting in laws) this was justto fill it up with stuff from tjs. am gonna so miss this shop. its a big store here, 4 floors. i hope it dont stay empty for long
    life is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.

    I am not surprised. In some towns they have several. If you want thorn tons you will walk to it. It's not really an impulse purchase(except ice-cream!).

    I am always amazed they are viable.
    June challenge £100 a day £3161.63 plus £350 vouchers plus £108.37 food/shopping saving

    October challenge £100 a day. £385/£3100
