Sounds faulty to me - especially if the others have had similar usage and are still working. Alternatively it could be a fault with the laptop - a faulty charging circuit could have killed the battery.

Batteries generally deteriorate gracefully from the moment you start to use them. If it has stopped working entirely then I would argue for a replacement. They can't limit statutory rights by pointing to their own "guarantee".

Not really a credit card issue unless you're attempting to invoke s75 and argue with the CC company, which you're entitled to do.

I would say its reasonable to expect a laptop battery to last more than 6months, however as the laptops you purchased were not new then it would be much harder to argue that its faulty, as you don't know how much usage it hard prior to your purchase.

For the first six months after purchase any fault is presumed to be the responsibility of the retailer to put right. Thereafter it is for you to show that the fault is of their causing not just generally wear and tear. Bearing in mind this is only the battery and not the laptop that is probably going to be a problem for you.

? OP said he purchased 3 laptops NEW, so how were they NOT new? ?

I would think though, this is more Sale of Goods Act territory, not S75- and the fact that it is reasonable to expect the battery to last for more than 6 months in a new laptop - the retailer should be the first port of call as they are responsible to the buyer, not the manufacturer.

I misread it as well, probably because of the spelling error. Sorry can't help you with the question.

batterys are classed as consumables though, no warranty except medion cover them for longer than 6 months. Its like if you keep your lappy on the mains all the time with a battery in in lowers the life .
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.
