Looking to switch broadband and line rental. Who will do it fastest?

As above, I am looking to move my broadband and home phone away from Sky. I cancelled my Sky subscription, and both Internet and phone line have now been disconnected, but I believe Sky still have hold of my line?
(I am currently not able to get Virgin's fibre optic package due to my house not being hooked up to that service.)
I am looking for a provider with a fast turnaround. The faster I can get my line switched the better.

Unfortunately you've had the line disconnected already, so you'll have to pay a reconnection charge to your new provider. Why didn't you cancel your TV sub and keep the phone/broadband going?
If you are on a Sky LLU line then your only option is to go back to BT on a 'return to donor'-this is free but requires a 12m line rental contract. Once your line is back on the BT network then you can apply for broadband with the provider of your choice, from there it typically takes 8-10 days to provision.
It's not possible to go direct from one LLU supplier to another.
Since it's BT Openreach who will reconnect you, the choice of provider is largely irrelevant to the timescale.
