It would have saved me soo much hassleand frustration !! I have rang their customer non service again to chase delivery of missing parts i was beginning to think it was because we were installing it ourselves but it sounds like their own installation team are inadequate !! i am in week 6 now without having a sink because they havent delivered my end panel not to mention my drawer fronts and corner post, it looks like i better take a trip yo b & q !!:mad:0

yes i woud advise you to cancel your order, unless you can wait until about xmas for all the parts to be delivered !! However one good thing about the whole scenario is that the kitchen and utilities seem to be good quality ! (if only they will deliver the right size) !!0

Think of the kitchen rogue who has been mentioned on here loads of time and Im sorry to say but that is who you have bought your kitchens from. You wont find his name associated with the company but Id lay my last penny on him being behind this company0

well we have had simular problems with units of poor quality and also parts where we have had to improvise by using plastic blocks for securing the units we cannot assemble all the kitchen because of missing items ie cooker hood housing.glass doors wall units the list goes on
we are waiting delivery of these items which supposed to be delivered this coming week september 13th or 14th dont know if we will get the remainder of our order we wont be happy if we dont0 -
hi i have recently paid £100 deposit for my kitchen from kitchen uber after finding this site on the internet.
i have had someone come out and measure and draw us a design up and have since had another fella out (arcitect) to do exact measurements and am now awaiting for a delivery date on my new kitchen. we have agreed for their fitters to install it too.
i am really worried though now what to do after reading these bad reports on kitchen uber, my husband wants to cancel and be prepared to lose the £100 but me being a typical woman after waiting years for a new kitchen is undecided??? what to do pleaseplease help thanks!!

Personally I would run a mile. £100 is a small price to pay to learn. But that is just my opinion. Have you found any good reviews?Warning: This forum may contain nuts.0 -
we`ve just had ours done by our own fitter and have had the same problems, wrong size doors, parts missing, messages not passed on, wrong dates, being cut off when you call.
the wood units are good quality to be fair, but the granite is poor and already staining. after sales service doesn`t exist and one time they did ring back their message started with `.........erm....customer erm services....(pause)....balls......(long pause) oh god, it`s kitchens uber can you ring us back?`
we`ve got a wood and granite kitchen that we could never have afforded from anywhere else, but for the amount of hassle and headaches I`d rather have stuck with chipboard units and formica trims.0 -
I registered on their website today as I'm looking for an ex-display kitchen as the room is currently just a shell so could fit in most any design! They called me back....first alarm bell was the 0161 area code - Manchester, scene of many-a-documented kitchen scam. They were then very pushy with trying to get me to book a designer, offering me liquidated Focus and MFI stock. Told them thanks, but no thanks.
I think I'm resigned to going with our local shop - will cost a little more, but pretty sure we'll get a first class service and a great product.0 -
I have also just paid £100 and having read the back of the design sheet, have found it non refundable I am gutted, but as I do not pay anymore until the kitchen arrives this is my plan. If any parts are missing, damaged or not correct I will not pay the remainder of the kitchen price until all parts are on site, checked and are fit for use. Does anyone see any legal problems with this.
Thank you in advance.0
