A tuner can only do one thing at once, if your tv has freeview then it should be able to record onto the dvd but you cannot watch a different freeview channel at the same time."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Sorry that this is a duplicate of previous thread, but PC came up with an error message as I posted, so I thought it had not been submitted:beer: My glass is half full :beer:0

depending on the type of TV you have there will be a scart (for instance AV2) on the back that possibly shows as input output,
You may have to change the settings on the TV so that AV2 is set as digital TV (DTV ) output
I know you can do this on mine.
Hope this helps0 -
If you buy a dvd recorder with built in freeview, is it possible to record one freeview programme and watch another? I have just bought a Liteon A740GX (no internal freeview) and have wired it up to my FoxT freeview and elderly Sony (but with one SCART) TV. I have tried various combinations of SCARTS and can record a TV channel on the dvd and watch Freeview, but if I set the DVD to record a Freeview programme I can only watch TV by using the telly controls, if that all makes sense? Any techies out there with suggestions?0
