Evening all
Just finished reading today's mound of Governing documents (well apart from the one I can't open - my machine I'm sure)
Just need to do a few more admin bits, set the WM and teasmaid, give the cats their biscuits, lock up and I should be done for the night! Oh and text DH to ring DS3 before school in the morning as he is missing him whilst he is away working. ** there was a rant here about regular hard working people **
Hugs for those with relationship problems.
Love as always for LL and Toots and Diva is still in my thoughts too xThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Well despite feeling depressed today, I did my basic list, of my dailies plus level one in the bedroom. I actually got to the end of the day thinking 'that's great' because I knew I could have done more, but more importantly, by setting reasonable targets, I'm starting to believe I am a person who follows through with their promises to themselves.
It's all about how you look at it really, and any progress is a good thing.
I had another small victory today...my friend called me and asked if she could come round, and was already at the end of my road. Even a week ago, I'd have made some excuse as I'd have felt my house wasn't fit to be seen. Now, it looked so much better I didn't hesitate to say yes. And I got a pecan Danish out of it ; ).
Dailies and level 1 again for me tomorrow.0 -

My face is a little flushed at the moment....but I am presently fine. Or comfortably numb, at least
Went to feed the fishies (we named them Morris and the Munchers) and accidentally crumbled a wine-enhanced size pinch of flakes into the tank. They have changed movies now - instead of yesterday's The Fog, today it appears that they are filming White Christmas.

Minion claims to have almost finished doing her room. I shall abstain from checking it, as I really can't be doing with more bother tonight. If, however, it is actually fit for animal habitation, then I am thinking about getting some paint for the upstairs bathroom as I am completely fed up with orangey magnolia in there, especially as it is standard paint, so is patchy where it has been wiped over.
The painted bit consists of one wall and a bit, plus the bath panel, as the rest is white tiled. I am debating dark dusky pink, Minion suggested raspberry or aqua. Any suggestions? It's just not anything at the moment, other than functional, so isn't a place to relax, but I'm thinking elegant, contemporary feminine rather than hotel room or children's playground. There will be no crocheted dolly toilet roll covers in there!I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -

I totally agree (even if I don't see it myself...)
I remember dieting and say, if I normally ate 2500 cals, setting a target of 1600 cals - if I ate 2000 I didn't see it as good that I'd eaten less than normal, I saw it as a failure that I'd eaten more than planned.
Which led to me giving up dieting altogether which didn't work either0 -
Aqua sounds good .. blue reflection is nice?... Mine is blue and white... with a see through shower curtain... with large zebras on  What about a sagey green (Dulux Misted Hills)? or a pale coffee colour (Dulux Malt chocolate or gentle fawn)? Then again.. I quite like Willow tree as well... I have several aint leaflets things here
Dusky pink is more old lady than contemporary feminine... you'll want chintz curtains and lace light shades next!!!
Load of washing from td folded and it has been refed.. The 3 baskets that were emptied over the last 2 days are brimming again! .. there is a half full one in the bathroom and an empty one in the girls room.. which will no doubt both be full by Monday.
Friday again I see.. these weeks are flying by just a tad too quickly for my liking!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
OK, cleared one bathroom cupboard. It'll do for tonight. I wiped over the shelf with a baby wipe and it came back foamy  maybe someone spilt some shampoo on it over the years or something...
