I haven't done much flying today Dog was walked nice an early. Took DD1 to work (2nd day and she is still loving it - long may it last!), then went to town (not nearest one, but Basildon - about 15 miles away) with DD2 to get some accessories for her prom on Thursday Then she helped me with the food shop while we were there. Got back just before the rain. Got wet on the school run! Had 2 boys sitting in pants with towels round them while their clothes went in the TD :rotfl:Managed to do the washing up, do 1 bag of recycling (collected pink sacks from the library on the way home) and S&S the kitchen while the boys were watching TV. Vac'd when they left so the house looked reasonable for when DH came home

DH & DS have put all but 1 of the glass in the windows of the shed (which arrived at 3.30 yesterday :j). i need to measure up for the insulation & hardboard so we can get it all damp proofed (well, as much as possible) Then i can clear out the cupboard under the stairs!

i haven't even looked at today's list, let alone tomorrows :eek: I had best get on!

After spending 2 hours on Saturday and 3 hours yesterday delousing the children they came out of school with louse letters tonight!

Think this is as much as I'm going to do... Not sure I can face doing the tops of the cupboards, but you never know


Tuesday ~ Kitchen and Dining Mess
Level Three
Wipe the tops of the wall units.. lining them with old wallpaper or newspaper keeps them clean!


So I have to work out in the morning what the next priority is... I should probably persevere downstairs, so have sitting room, hall, loo and utility to choose from. Mess will clearly be working it's way into either the spare room or study as normal...

can i post something unrelated to flylady please (well mostly), i normally post flylady stuff and i know everyone here is really supportive and gives good advice i just dont want to post on the main forum in case a troll comes across it, i just really need some advice

Hello all,

Not posted for a bit, but I'm still doing my best! Just knowing you are all there doing the same as me (or at least trying) is really helping. Kitchen/dining and living room looking loads better than they have for a while, even tho' it's only really been level one.
All earlier talk of broodiness is making me broody. Stop stop stop.

Done:

Monday - Sitting Room and Hallway
Level One
Open the windows and turn on some music!
Vacuum floors and sofas!
Declutter the chairs, floor and top of any cupboards! (done half top of cupboard but it is quite big and very messy)
Level Three
Check those smoke alarms!

Tuesday ~ Kitchen and Dining Mess
Level One
Sweep, vacuum and mop floors
Declutter and wipe worksurfaces
Oven and hob cleaning week... and it is level one so none of you can get out of it..
Level Two
Wipe table replacing cloth if necessary..
Dejunk window sills

Also lots and lots of laundry and a bit of weeding.:)

Sure! Just stick something like "and then i emptied the DW" on the end and it's all good.

Not much flying done. Am so pooped after work, I'm only managing the dailies. I'm off on Thursday and Friday so will grab the lists then.
I've got to pop out to the dentist on Thursday and my vol job. Friday - don't let me leave the house!

Thanks for all the help re the picnic bag/basket/ rucksack...I found one on ebay for £21 inc del...If I can't "steal" tthe one I bought for my mother 2 years ago, that she has never ud=sd!!

Pigpen, I know I have only 1 child, but I feel your annoyance re the headlice......DD has long thick hair....everyone else loves it but they don't have to go through it CONSTANTLY checking!!! I feel like taking a razor to it at times!!!!

this may be a little long.....im 23 and mother to 3yr old boy and am with his father and have been for 6 years....starting last year my OH went to jail for 71/2 months leaving his brother (27) living at my place at first me and the brother got on really well, then slowly he started controlling what i was doing (i work weekends only) and he would have to speak to me all the way to work on my breaks and all the way home and if i didnt he would say i was cheating with someone, i couldnt leave the house unless he was with me, couldnt do my hair or makeup because he said i was doing it for someone else....any little thing would make him mad whether it was me leaving work a few mins late or not picking up my phone literally anything. The people at work know because he phoned screaming abuse one day because i wouldnt speak to him anymore after her had called me names all the way to work after the cab driver (who is 50 odd and family have used him for at least 5 years) asked how my mum was so he said i was cheating with him, even the cab man could hear from the front seat, so he threatened everyone at my work that day over the phone my manager calmed him down and he started apologising (like he always did) it ended up with him being violent to me, he would hit me or bite me leaving huge bruises that i still have proof of, if i tried to call the police he would either smash the phones in the house or keep them in his pockets so i would bang on the walls and scream to get people to call the police but i think they didnt want to get involved. Afterwards he would be apologetic and say he has the devil inside him and if i say what happened he would either tell my OH that im cheating or he would kill me and my family...so rightly or wrongly i kept my mouth shut. OH came out of jail and everything went back to normal, the brother was very apologetic saying he didnt know what got in to him until he went back in a couple months ago (it wasnt him so he will be released in a couple of days) at first again everything was fine and then he started coming around and if i looked like i didnt want him here he would start going crazy mad saying it because i want other men in the house, last week he shouted at me calling me names in front of my little sister and son because the day before i had wanted my keys back to pick her up that day he threatened me and to drown my little sisters kitten or to throw it off the balcony as i had it there with me. He finally stopped and said to my sis he was joking, so i left it as i had her overnight and didnt want anymore arguments then on tuesday he bust my lip, hit me a few times, strangled me and put both his knees on top of my head when i was pinned to the bed and started bouncing on top of my head with his knees and bit me on my arm because i would let him take my son with him, i admit in the end i lost it and started punching him (this is the first time) when he started saying things about my family, he took my son out of the house and i followed him grabbing my son when he stopped to tie his shoelaces there were people around and i was being loud to make sure everyone could witness it he asked to get his stuff out of my house and i said yes at this point i was hysterical and he was saying sorry and pulled me in the house, i kept asking him to leave and he wouldnt. Come to last night and he got mad at me because i didnt sit and watch a movie with him instead i was watching law and order with him so he gt mad and i can always tell when it starts because he starts with stopping speaking to me, then he tries to do thing to annoy me like playing loud music at night or switching my light on and off when im sleeping so by this point i was shaking because i knew that he was mad it didnt kick off last night he just ranted saying he was leaving and never to talk to him, i was just praying he would leave but he didnt but he calmed and said sorry.

Then this morning he woke up fine but after an hour he started kicking of agin, he said he wanted a bath so i scrubbed out the bathroom for him then he decided he didnt want to have one and then started arguing calling my family names i ignored it until he started hitting with a plastic stick leaving welts across my arm and encouraging my son to do the same, again he tried to leave with my son and i stopped him in the communal hall and he started threatening me if i made a scene i wouldnt stop till i got my son so he dragged me by my top hitting my chest and throwing me on the floor i stopped the cab he was getting into showing the driver the marks and telling it was my son to call the police, the cab driver stopped and said he was calling them, the brother got out of the car and started threatening the cab driver so i grabbed my son and ran (he was threatening to cut the kitten in half and smash up my house) people who had seen this let me in their house and i explained what had happened and i called the older brother and told him everything, he got his brother out of my house with his mum and told him not to come back here again, the older brother and mum came back to check on me and i went into more detail about what had been going on, later he starts calling my house phone begging forgiveness saying sorry ringing the house phone countless times i had my 21 yr old sister on the phone so she could hear, and because i told him i never wanted to speak to him he started threatening me and then saying im sorry you are my little sister i love you and my nephew....told him to leave me alone and phoned the older brother to get him to stop contacting me.

But what to i do now? I think i have enough to go to the police photos, recording of him threatening me, witnesses......but it would devastate my family as well the threats of him saying im cheating and who would his brother believe or him saying he would kill me and my family. If i tell my boyfriend it would get so bad as well someone would end up in hospital....

Now i know you will probably say im stupid but ive been so beaten down with nobody to turn to as well as other problem like my real dad leaving for the 3rd time in my life, my grandad having a stroke in front of me, my stepdad cheating on my my mum, my mum trying to kill herself, me having pneumonia it goes on and on and my family dont know that OH is in jail so if i told them i would have to explain everything to them.

Also forgot to add that last year i lost 21/2 stone due to the stress and already over the last 2 weeks i have lost one stone,
