Deleting my post count

I just got to 3,000 posts last night, and then up to about 3,040 before rocketing off to bed.

Now i expected two certain threads to be deleted, but i didn't realise my thanks/posts went with them.

Why does this happen, and can't you do it another way that means i keep my posts :rolleyes:

Because surely participating in a 25page discussion, which then gets deleted is gona cost you an awful lot of well spent posts

i never realised a post count meant so much?

i can understand that dropping below your 3000 achievement might be a little disappointing, but i dont think your number means anything at the end of the day

you know the reason that threads get deleated by now babe, so you should also know why your posts cant remain (although i was under the impression you dont loose thanks if posts are deleted, just post count)

there are more important things to worry about

I never ever care, just slightly bemused my 3,000 posts thread was wrong, as i was lower than that

I figured if they deleted it the count stayed the same. Have to say, i never noticved in the time i been here, only today

I am pretty certain thanks get deleted too.

me, I dont care about how many posts I have, 100 or 1000 who cares, my posts are always thoughtfully written, full of information, always helpful, never harsh or owt like that so who cares anyway

Have you noticed that most of the people on here that are saying that the post count doesn't matter have under 500!
