Weekly Spend Challenge W/C 26th June 2011

Can I join too please? I've been meaning to try and get my weekly spends down, so this is the perfect challenge! I already put petrol in my car this morning, but am going out this evening (with a 2 for 1 Pizza Express voucher!) and having a haircut tomorrow (first time in 6 months! Very excited!) so I will put my spend at....hmm....£45. I'm hoping not to get near that though!
Thanks

I'd like to run from Midnight Sunday to Midnight Sunday, with a pledge of £150. Most of this will be a tank of diesel that I know is looming later in the week, which will be around £85. I don't anticipate spending much during the week, because dinners and packed lunches are all accounted for - so the key task is to spend as little as possible over the weekend (eating out or takeaways are a big downfall).
So far this week: £1.97 because I bought some bananas (for the kids' lunch boxes) and some loo-rolls (hubby won't be pleased that I got the Sainsbury's Basics version so I expect repurcussions).0 -
Evening all
Just to report any spends today were from the grocery budget so NSD for this challenge.
I got a free fiver today. A few weeks ago I found it on the ground in reception at work. Since no one claimed it they said I could have it. I had totally forgotten so that was a nice surprise this morning.Weekly Spend Challenge: £0/£30

Hi all,
I'd like to join please? I get paid tomorrow but most of it is due out anyways, I have a total of £40 to do me till next Fri. So thats what i'd like to pledge please.
Thanks0 -
Oh dear, my first week of this challenge and I'm doing really badly! Dinner on Monday cost more than I was hoping/expecting (£15), haircut was £20 and I've also been naughty and bought a couple of pints in the pub :-/ Also had to put in to a couple of birthday collections at work so I'm pretty much at my budgeted spend already, and forgot to budget for my niece's birthday present, which I'm going to buy tonight. Doh!
I'm planning to spend around £20 on my niece's birthday present/card etc, so that will bring my total for the month to £65 :undecided I then plan on not spending any more money until the weekend (at least!). I suppose that's not too bad though, considering I didn't budget for the birthday present...
Next week should hopefully be more successful as I won't have nights out/haircut/birthday presents to spend out on!! I'm also hoping to return a top to the shop tomorrow so hopefully the refund can bring my spend down!!0
