Need urgent help, paid deposit/tax for car, dealer has now sold to someone else

Hi, I need some urgent help if possible. Last week I paid a deposit of £70 and road tax to a car dealer and we agreed to complete the deal on the weekend and that as the car had no road tax on it, the dealer will get it under his name during the week, so I could complete the deal and drive the car away at the weekend.
