Tesco Complaint

OK now I'm confused...you've bought a product that tells you it may have bones in, you find the bones they warned you about and you send in a complaint? What are you hoping to acheive and why? It'd be different if it was something that shouldn't be there - like a lump of plastic or metal from the plant - but if it's a bone from meat in a meat-containing pie, and they warn you it could have bones, what is the complaint about?
Clearly the OP is just after some money offer vouchers, they aren't really bothered about an old person or child chocking on the bones.
Hopefully Tesco will tell them to get lost, unfortunately they probably won't so that'll be another price rise somewhere for the rest of us to make up for it.0 -
That is why I suggested going back to the store. In this case you are more likely to get something from the duty manager just so you go away and save them time. The head office will follow their rules and say there is a disclaimer on the box.If you find you are drinking too much give this number a call. 0845 769 75550

I sometimes wonder what kind of person finds a miniscule (8mm) bone in a pie, with a written warning on the packaging, thinks its so outrageous that they feel the need to complain and then takes the time to post their ordeal on a website.
How about taking said bone (all 8mm of it) putting it on the side of the plate, finish eating the pie then throwing the bone away when you've finished.
Talk about a drama queen!!You have been reading.....another magnificent post by garethgas :beer:0 -

I think its because people are so used to eating pre-processed crud that doesn't have anything real in it . And also because they haven't the foggiest how food should be. Talking in general, that is.
I would be ok if there was a small piece of bone in a pie, because it means that pie was made with meat. Not chemically dissolved, reconstituted, textured protein.0 -
The pie was a whoopsie but I feel this is immaterial as this could have been very dangerous to the elderly or a small child.
But it wasn't a small child or elderly person...
Chickens have bones - sometimes the processor gets bits in the pie, there's a warning on the packet to check

I thought the OP was going to say the pie wasn't very filled - quite disappointed now0
