Tesco Complaint

Hi All
Hope this is the right place to post this.

Bought a Deep fill Chicken & Mushroom pie from Tesco today for Tea, halfway thro eating it my step some found 2 pieces of bone in it, both pieces are about 8mm long

So my question is how to proceed about complaining, email details to CS, go to store or postal complaint?
I have the box & reciept and of course the 2 pieces of bone.

The pie was a whoopsie but I feel this is immaterial as this could have been very dangerous to the elderly or a small child.

Has anyone had an experience like this with tesco and got any good advice?
TIA
Taz

Refund only or replace it. Just get a new pie and put it in the freezer.

    MOVING THREADS FOR BETTER RESPONSES

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. • do they not normally have a disclaimer on the box saying something along the lines of ''although care is taken there may still be bones'' etc etc

it might be worth checking that this is not on there before you go in :)

I have complained to a company about finding plastic in my meal. I left them a really nasty phone message about it... I was annoyed at finding it but being very late at night and being 9 months pregnant my hormones and hunger got the better of me. Got a load of vouchers from the brand after sending off the pastic for proof.

OK now I'm confused...you've bought a product that tells you it may have bones in, you find the bones they warned you about and you send in a complaint? What are you hoping to acheive and why? It'd be different if it was something that shouldn't be there - like a lump of plastic or metal from the plant - but if it's a bone from meat in a meat-containing pie, and they warn you it could have bones, what is the complaint about?
