    by the way could it be anti roll bar pin/bushes. because the mot for 2010 stated that as a advisory

    right I think you have just answered your question and best to get them/it done sooner rather than later,
    I am surprised that if it was an advise in 2010 that it passed this time unless it hasnt done many miles between mot's,still should have been advised this time

    the reason it wont show so much on the mway is that you are through the gears and driving smoothly

  • For goodness sake get the thing jacked up and have a look.

    You'd expect to fully inspect any vehicle after buying it, especially a private sale where there's a possibility it was sold needing attention.

    Thanks :) but you know what i mean, a full wheels off and brakes out underside inspection, something most sellers wouldn't want you performing outside their gaff.

    i did take it for a test drive but it was only round the block seemed fine.starting doing it on way back.the sound is similiar to when you stall your car,but a lot louder.
    am going garage on monday but thought if it was something i could look into before hand

    It'll be the drop arms, not the bushes normally.
    £10 a side, and the skin of the back of your fingers.

    They can be hard to check if they're gone, by hand some feel fine, but are still noisey, others can be falling apart in your hand..
