Yes, i was previously awarded high rate care and my care needs have increased however im not far to scared to ask them to look at my claim again in case the remove it again completely

To be honest, with the implementation of PIP in a couple of years when everyone will be reassessed anyway, I would accept what they have given for now. I accepted mine for many years, I was grateful for what I had been given, although everyone who knew me could not understand why I was not awarded HRC - this time, after many years I have finally been awarded. Just be thankful as there are some out there who have been fighting so long for any kind of award.

I would also be careful as they may look at the issue of pain, and that it should be managed with pain relief. Not siputing your needs, but they may view your issues differently at a panel.

I am currently on Fantanyl high dose, together with 1000 mg of tramadol (5x200mg per day on specialists say so as it is over and above the recommended dose), I am on n 8 x 750mg robaxin methocarbamol (which is 6000 mg per day) as well as a lot of other medication. It has not made any difference to my award as regard "pain is being managed" because it is not being managed at all - if it was, I would happily work my behind off.
