trying to download my 1st app, how long should it take please. also how do i find traffic counter or anything else people suggest . thanks

I havent successfully downloaded an app from the Market on my phone. I did manage to register the phobe with my android Market account though. What I did was log in to the android Market on my computer then get the apps sent to my phone just by clicking install. They downloaded with no problem then. Before that, it just looked like they were taking ages to download but not actually downloading at all!

Does contacting them (by phone or email) to sort out overcharging increase the chances of cashback being declined? Or is it pretty much guaranteed as it was a quidco-only deal?

I am disgusted that tmobile ALWAYS seem to apply these delivery charges on free delivery offers, they did it with the last sim I ordered despite my twice confirming there would be no charge. They are trying to pull a fast one, hoping people don't care / don't notice, and I think they should be reported.

Have yoiu switched on the Wi-Fi before trying to download the apps?
If you have done this apps should take only seconds to download.

anyone had probs with incoming text sounds ... the setting/ sounds does not work....
    seems a common issue

you need messaging, =button, settings .. then at bottom ringtone.

downloading (I've done via phone and via pc - both worked)

You select 3g and wifi always on... - it will default to wifi if in range - easiest way but may use more battery

Yes, I managed to get the content lock removed too. They download fine when they are sent from my computer but not when I try to download them on the handset itself. I'll have to borrow a windows pc and try doing the update through Kies. Maybe that will help?

Mine says £4.16 delivery too and the delivery note says £4.99 for the sim.

I logged in (I've got an existing account with them for my own phone) and I can't work out how to see my details now, as they have been replaced by details of this new phone. For some reason it says there's 33 mins and 33 texts left, and the new billing cycle is on july 9th. It doesn't mention any charges yet, and nothing's been charged to my bank yet.

EDIT: I've sorted it out now so that I can see both accounts. My son's account shows 33 mins etc. so I assume they are giving us a third of a month now, then charging a full month in July? I'll call them and check.
